School trajectories of students and graduates of the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Culture and Sports at UAEMex
Abstract
Background: The present research was carried out in the bachelor´s degree in Physical Culture and Sports of the Faculty of Behavioral Sciences at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico considering the period from 2012 to 2020. Aims: The objective of the study was to analyze the school trajectories of students and graduates. Method: The methodology used considered a set of statistical indicators such as school dropout, academic lag, and academic achievement, which provided a be er understanding of the low graduation rates. Results and conclusions: The result reflects the relevance of instituting and expanding the graduation bachelor´s degree options for newly created and related degrees, particularly the General Examination for the Graduation of the Degree (EGEL) which is non-existent in the current catalog of the National Center of Evaluation for Higher Education (CENEVAL) in Mexico.
